The Man I married
From a slow start this book builds to fever pitch until you just can’t put it down. I read this book late into the night desperately seeking answers. Lucy the narrator is a probation office who falls in love with Paul the psychiatrist. These two verbally dance around each other and you never quite know which direction they are going in. The book is deep and dark clearly illustrates gaslighting at its worst. An amazingly good read from a debut novelist.
