Great story with two strong but wounded characters
Thoroughly enjoyed this first novel from this new writer. There is more to it than just a pair of star crossed lovers, with the heroine having been a spy in war torn France before returning to the stately home where she had been raised. Heart wrenching, intriguing and definitely engrossing! I look forward to this author’s next novel!
