Lead heroine is a spoilt child
Very frustrating lead character. The story line itself wasn’t bad and that was what kept me skimming through the books. But Mia is totally frustrating as a lead. She doesn’t think through anything, rushes headlong into dangerous situations and gets upset at anyone who cares enough about her earning her to be more careful. Constantly throwing tantrums at the drop of a hat for no valid reason, accusing Jack and Maxwell of paternalism when all they show is concern. She’s a danger and a menace to herself and those around her. Absolutely no idea what Jack sees in her.
