Paige Toon’s Inside Story: “I was partly inspired by Fleabag for this novel, which is about two people who can’t form long lasting relationships but for very, very different reasons. There’s another storyline in The Minute I Saw You which my editor was really unsure about. I really had to convince her, which I’ve never had to do before. It was weighing quite heavy on me, and I felt sick to my gut that she might say it didn’t work. But once she read it, she said, ‘You were so right, you’ve done this perfectly.’ The Minute I Saw You is set in Grantchester, near where I live in Cambridge, during an idyllic English summer—think canoes on the river, pub gardens and cream teas. Every time I revisit places my characters Sonny and Hannah go with their friends, I feel a bubble of happiness in my chest. It makes me feel close to them—and makes them even more real.”

Characters you love! Can’t out this down!
Excellent book
Great story , had me interested from start to finish. I felt like I was right there with each character as I turned each page. Found by chance , but certainly enjoyed this book and look forward to reading more by this author
The minute I saw you
I literally could not put this down! I became totally invested in the characters and their stories. First of Paige Toon’s books I have read and it won’t be the last. ❤️
