Publisher Description
“The Negro, whether in Africa or America, must be directed toward a serious examination of the fundamentals of education, religion, literature, and philosophy as they have been expounded to him. He must be sufficiently enlightened to determine for himself whether these forces have come into his life to bless him or bless his oppressor. After learning the facts in the case the Negro must develop the power of execution to deal with these matters as do people of vision.”

Customer Reviews
Important for understanding black realities in America and the world.
I strongly recommend. The author details and describes the underlying problems of the race and how we look at ourselves. Our intentionally taught and self-developed inclination to look without before looking within which is crippling the usefulness of the race. With different case studies and ideas sprinkled throughout the pages, you are really given an opportunity to look introspectively on how you add to the denigration of the race, but are also given ways in which you can apply yourself so you no longer serve such denigrations or the wills of the traducers. As I said earlier on, I strongly recommend.
