Publisher Description
She swore she'd never come back. He swore he'd never forgive her. They were both wrong.
Seven years ago, Leah Reynolds walked away from Lyntacky—and from Dan Duke—the night her world fell apart. Now she's back, raising her nephew after her sister's death, determined to keep her heart locked tight.
But Dan isn't the boy she left behind. He's the town's deputy, the man who once broke her trust, and the only one who can keep her safe when danger comes looking. Wanting him again is a risk she can't take… but resisting him may be impossible.
Lyntacky was like most small towns. It had its interfering locals and families who could trace their roots back hundreds of years. Where Lyntacky stood out from the rest was their love of Square Dancing and the Duke brothers. Both were trouble. Neither had plans for leaving.

Customer Reviews
Great, storyline, characters, intrigue and romance
Dan and Leah’s book was well worth the wait, after being gone for seven years Leah moves back to what had been her family home with her nephew after her sister’s death as it has been empty since her father was sent to prison after being arrested by her then boyfriend years before. Despite Leah’s intentions of keeping to herself and taking care of Hudson and making a go of living at the farm despite the odds against her, the residents of Lyntacky were never going to let that happen and before any time has passed she was surrounded by members of the Duke family all more than willing to help her and her nephew Hudson settle in, including Dan her ex boyfriend. Like the other books in this series the residents are quirky and entertaining and the Duke family dynamic and banter is great. All is not plain sailing in the book and the plot line holds your attention. Once again Lani Blake has written a book with a great storyline, intrigue, fun, romance and great characters and hopefully there will be more books set in Lyntacky in the future
