'A modern master'
Ben Cooper and his team from Derbyshire Constabulary's E Division return in this gripping new page-turner from the master of the genre.

'Booth skilfully portrays a stunning landscape with a dark heart that conceals secrets, vendettas and revenge'
'Makes high summer as terrifying as midwinter'
'A first rate mystery
'Ingenious Plotting and richly atmospheric'

Paint dries faster than this book, appalling story line weak and never really gets anywhere
Long winded descriptions of the moors with places that mean nothing. The only reason I finished the book was because I was stuck on a plane with nothing else to read
