Brilliant

Cannot get enough of Bosch and Ballard is brilliant too. Loved this novel have read all the previous books and I feel that it helps to do so as the characters are so much more rounded if you do that. MC in my opinion is the best crime writer out there and this books just makes me long for the next. Please read this book if you can, you won’t be disappointed.

OK

Not as good as previous Bosch and Ballard outings. Too many loose ends in the text.

Meh...

Have previously enjoyed the Bosch/Ballard collaborations but this one didn't really hit the mark. Slow build up and then rushed ending that left a lot to be desired. Beginning to think it's run its course and with Bosch not being a cop any more the storyline is less compelling.
