The Trojan War lasted ten years; a war which began with the abduction of fair Helen – the Queen of Sparta – by Paris, the son of King Priam of Troy. The Greeks managed to enter the city of Troy thanks to the ingenious king of Ithaca, wiley Odysseus, who came up with the idea to build the Trojan Horse.
