When a dead body is found on the pristine beach at South Padre Island on the Texas Gulf coast Jimmy Redstone, an aging and irrelevant Texas Ranger, is teamed with Angella Martinez, a gorgeous rookie local cop to hunt down the killer.  They soon discover that they are in the midst of a plot far more sinister than a dead body.
