Publisher Description
Two bisexual exes, one unforgettably hot summer . . .
In The Pairing, bestselling author Casey McQuiston's romantic comedy, two bisexual exes accidentally book the same European food and wine tour and challenge each other to a hookup competition to prove they're over each other – except they're definitely not.
Theo and Kit have been childhood best friends, crushes, lovers and, after a brutal breakup four years ago, estranged exes.
It’s not until Theo and Kit are trapped on board a tour bus that they discover that they’ve each had the same idea: to take their dream European food and wine tour – alone. And now they’re stuck with each other for three weeks of the most romantic sights and sensuous flavours of France, Spain, and Italy. But it’ll be fine. They’re absolutely over each other.
So, when Theo suggests a friendly wager to see who can sleep with their hot Italian tour guide first, Kit is game. In fact, why stop there? Why not a full-on European hookup competition?
But sometimes a taste of everything only makes you crave what you can’t have.

APPLE BOOKS REVIEW
We loved Casey McQuiston’s riotous White House enemies-to-lovers romance Red, White & Royal Blue, and here she treats us to two more deeply memorable characters. Theo and Kit are four years past a brutal breakup that threatened to tear up their rather wonderful shared history when they find themselves on a food and wine tour of Europe together. The pair calls a truce—they’re over each other, after all—and vow to enjoy life aboard the coach as it trundles across McQuiston’s gorgeously captured European hot spots. Things spice up when they concoct a hookup competition, and, well, we won’t take you too much further into this particular tour. The chemistry between the two leaps off the page, and proves McQuiston’s talent in capturing complex, relatable queer romance.

Bait and switch
Not at all about two boys, don’t be fooled by the de-gendered names, promo text and cover art or the references to Red White and Royal Blue.
