I enjoyed this read, it was easy enough to get into, but I did find the husband lacked emotion, for his wife's feelings and for that of his dead baby, the more I think about it, the more I feel it lacked in depth.
Awful ending (spoilers)
I enjoyed this story until it just ENDED!! and it made the story feel very unfinished. I agree the husband at times was quite unemotional but this could have been rectified if the ending had of been more spaced out and more answers given like his mother (what happened?) his brother (jail? How long? Etc.) the baby (has she forgiven herself?) just ANY more info?!?!?! it just seems the story built itself up for a dramatic ending which just turned into a deflated balloon. And if there's one thing that ruins a story it's the ending, and I know i won't be buying more stories from the author. I know it's harsh but I've just finished it and I'm pi**ed off and feel I've wasted a few hours of my life.
