The Pathways Tree Books 1-2 Boxset

Isn't true love the most enchanting thing?

Rags to riches. Dreams come true. Evil is vanquished, true love conquers all, and everyone lives happily ever after.
At least, that's how the stories are supposed to go.
Look a little closer, and you'll find something sinister lurking beneath the surface. These beloved fairy tales aren't simply stories. Each one is carefully manufactured by the General Administration, the totalitarian fae government.
They decide who gets to be a hero, who must play the villain, and exactly who gets a happily-ever-after. Every wicked witch, enchanted forest, and deadly spinning wheel has been carefully planned. And anyone who tries to deviate from their narrative will find themselves in the dreaded Redaction Department.
But Bea, an overlooked cabbage fairy with ambitions of becoming a Godmother, has never been good at following rules. So when she accidentally-on-purpose sets off a chain of events that threatens to unravel the entire fairy-tale system, Bea and her friends soon find themselves caught up in a story that can't possibly have a happy ending...
