Wonderful book
I enjoyed reading th book
A well told story - difficult to read at times.
I recommend reading the advice given by the author prior to reading this book.
Although I loved the story and the characters - I found it difficult to read sometimes especially how Louella (the main female character) copes with the pressures of her life.
I have met people with the same compulsive behaviour and I admit at times when reading I found it difficult to comprehend and accept why this character did what she did - even though she is fictional!
To the author - well done for writing her flaws so beautifully.
If you can - I highly recommend this book.
Not for me
Not sure what the writer was aiming for but it didn’t quite hit the mark, the subject matter doesn’t quite fit in a historical romance
