Joan was a young girl living on the colony world Smith. quantum drives had eliminated airplanes, automobiles and carbon fuels. Joan had a dream, she wanted to fly, but not just fly, but fly like an Eagle. she wanted to feel the wind on her face. Her Quantum friend and Avatar Judy would help her to fly beyond her dreams. Joan and Judy would sit by saints pond and talk about their plans.
