Cosy read
Quite enjoyed this read, couldn’t put it down (easily achieved my reading goal every day) ✨. It’s a good cosy book, would like to explore Dream Harbour more and can’t wait for the next book.
Although the “trips and tricks” could’ve been better explained, it felt like a lot was happening then it stopped being seen and then we saw who it was and in 2 seconds all that “what’s happening, who is it” was done super fast.
Nevertheless recommend it to all the Gilmore Girls fans and cosy readers. ✨
Overhyped TikTok book. Didn’t live up to expectations.
A cosy autumnal book, easy read to get back into after a reading slump. I found the plot and the characters very predictable and fast paced. The story line didn’t have any depth and I read the book in two small sittings.
No character development and mostly focuses on the main characters and small backstory. Some spicy scenes. Picked up for the hype on TikTok and cute cover.
It was decent
As far as books go, if you’re looking for detail, something written to a high standard, a really captivating and experienced piece of literature, you won’t really get it from this book but that’s not to say I didn’t enjoy it. Whilst if you’re looking for the above I wouldn’t recommend the book, if you’re looking for a comforting, cozy and easy to read little book with a cutesy type of storyline, I think you’ll enjoy this. The writing is simple and it is rushed but it’s a sweet little love story to read a couple chapters a day of.
