The Remaining

Set in a fictional village in Northern Ireland, The Remaining tells the entwined stories of Ciara Owens, the oldest resident of Baille Elunae and survivor of the ritual performed to seal away a recurring mental disorder, and twin brothers Fionn and Rian Tierney, who are likely to be the ritual's latest performers. Over seven years Ciara watches as the disorder returns and many fall victim to it, including Rian. This has all happened before, and it ended in the death of Ciara's own sister. As the time of the ritual draws closer, she can only wait to see what the outcome will be. Will the village be saved, or will it all end in disaster?
