The fabulous first Shopaholic novel by international No. 1 bestselling author Sophie Kinsella. The perfect pick-me-up when life is hanging in the (bank) balance . . . !
Meet Rebecca Bloomwood.
She has a great flat, a fabulous wardrobe full of the season's must-haves, and a job telling other people how to manage their money. She spends her leisure time ... shopping.
Retail therapy is the answer to all her problems. She knows she should stop, but she can't. She tries Cutting Back, she tries Making More Money. But neither seems to work. The letters from the bank are getting harder to ignore. Can Becky ever escape from this dreamworld, find true love, and regain the use of her credit card?

I first read the latest Shopaholic, Shopaholic to the Stars. Then I decided I wanted to read from the start. Is it weird I was so obsessed with her little thing with Luke? I soooo wanted them to get together. BEST ENDING EVER (for me)!!!!!!!
Shallow, dumb, predictable
A blatant and poor attempt to plagiarise Bridget Jones Diary. The heroine is incredibly shallow, plot line dull and predictable, jokes not funny. I very rarely dislike the book so much I won’t even finish it but this was it. Do not recommend.
Really hope she makes book 7😀
