The Shepherd's Gift

I wanted to find a way to share the story of Jesus with my grandchildren. I chose to tell the story from a unique perspective, in the hope that they would want to share my “Tail”, and be able to retell the story of the wondrous gift of Jesus and his love to their friends, and parents too!


My prayer is, just in the same way the shepherd and Pika demonstrated love and kindness to one another that our children would want to do the same as they grow in Christ’s love.


Biography:

The author has been a registered nurse for 45 years.  For the last 20 years she has resided in Florida and works in a rural county, with a culturally diverse population of children and their families.


I feel blessed to live close to my son’s and their beautiful wives, with a total of 5 soon to be 6 grandchildren! I love to read, and fish.  I absolutely enjoy the company of my dog Phantom as we take long nature hikes and runs in our beautiful South Florida country side.
