The Show Must Go On

This book is focussed on the re-emergence of local amateur theatre in the Bolton area, post pandemic. Photographs of many talented actors and backstage crew strutting their stuff on stages around our community to show their commitment to the arts.
Bolton is bursting with talent, and it is found in our local Drama and Theatre Groups, Music, Arts and Choral Societies, and in local Orchestras and Singing Groups. All of these contain gifted performers who work their magic both on stage and backstage. Live performances are very special because they involve an unrepeatable set of complex reactions, not only between the audience and players but also from performer to performer and from viewer to viewer. All of which makes a live performance so much more entertaining and involving than an evening watching TV.
