What will it take to put the past to rest?
Professional genealogist Melissa Grantham receives an invitation to visit her family’s ancestral home, Ashleigh Manor. From the moment she arrives, life-like dreams and visions haunt her. The spiritual connection to a medieval young woman and her forbidden lover have her questioning her sanity, but Melissa is determined to solve the mystery.
Jake Precy, owner of a nearby cottage, has disturbing dreams too, but it’s not until he meets Melissa that they begin to make sense. He hires her to research his family’s history, unaware their lives are already entwined. Is the mutual attraction real or the result of ghostly interference?
A haunting love story set partly in the present and partly in fifteenth century Kent.

APPLE BOOKS REVIEW
Blending contemporary and historical romance (with just a dash of the paranormal), The Silent Touch of Shadows is mildly spooky and majorly satisfying. When Melissa Grantham moves in to her family's 600-year-old ancestral home, she’s haunted by visions of a past life—and love—from the 15th century. We delighted in Melissa's ghostly dreams and cheered for her to be reunited with her soulmate in the 21st century.
The silent touch of shadows
Really this book. A real treat considering it was free of charge. First time I have read from this author. Would have liked a more involved ending with Sibell and George. Would have liked to found out what happen to Idenhurst. Overall really enjoyed it. Will try another from this author. Thank you
Beautiful love story

Silent Touch of Shadows
This book was free of charge. What a wonderfully captivating storyline. I struggled to put it down. It did feel as though the last couple of chapters were rushed through, I would have liked more.
I've never read a book from this author before but she is definitely now on my list to read more from.
Reminded me very much of Barbara Erskine storylines, who being one of my most favourite authors, is a huge compliment.
