"The Six Chapters of a Floating Life" (浮生六记)is an episode of the autobiographical essays of an unnamed painter, Shen Fu (three characters in the Qing Dynasty), which includes "The Story of the House", "The Leisure Story", "The Canyon", "The Wavess" Article. The other two "Zhongshan Calendar" "Health Record" were missing.
Shen Fu was born in the 28th year of Emperor Qianlong (AD 1763), a native of Suzhou , Jiangsu Province, and his life is little known. The book truly records the ordinary and difficult life of Shen Fu, as well as the unforgettable fragments of life. In particular, with a deep affectionate brush, it described the clever and very unfortunate wife, Yun. Yun is said to one of the most lovely women in Chinese literature and history.
