Publisher Description
It’s been four years since the dark came for Abbii, moving as shadows in the night. Their foul presence lingers even in her dreams, her skin scarred by their attack. i am really not a fan of fantasy.
However….
I bloody loved this!!
Abbi as such a phenomenal character and likeable from the get go.
The book grabs you right from the start with a devastating event that starts Abbi on her journey of discovery.
The story is full of twists and turns and it’s incredibly gripping.
The first couple of chapters gave me Hogwarts vibes, if hogwarts was a university and the dementors (or shadows in this book) where a hell of a lot more scary and destructive.
Anyone who is a fan of Shadow and Bone would also like this as it has a very similar vibe but set in the real world.
Also Nate is just 😍
This will definitely not be the last @cwarnerthompson book I read!
