Publisher Description
I wanted him more than anything, but he wasn't meant for me.
Life in North Border is hard, but I don't mind as long as I can steal a few moments alone with Clay Pulley at the end of the work day.
He's not my mate. If he were, our kisses would have triggered my heat by now.
I know this can't last, but it's the sweetest thing I've ever had. I'm holding on tight to every single second.
But then we're caught together, and he declares in front of everyone that I don't belong to him.
I'm destroyed.
As for him?
Well, turns out—he's wrong.
And he's in for the fight of his life.
The Stone Wolf's Rejected Mate is a companion novella set in the Five Packs world. It can be read as a standalone. No cheating. HEA guaranteed. Intended for adult readers only.

Rejected publicly…
WrenLee and Clay are both drawn to each other but they are not mates. They kissed and it did not trigger what was expected from mates. They both live wretched lives in their pack that is ruled by a selfish, dishonest and cruel alpha. Clay is extremely strong and a brilliant fighter but has a caring and moral heart which is in direct opposition with many of the men in the pack. He has to keep it hidden in order to survive. He in order to try and save Wrenlee denounces her as his mate according to the rules of the pack. He without realising sentences her and her family of girls to relentless brutality from her father. He is forced to do many things he feels are wrong and overly violent to keep Wrenlee safe. The story unfolds in ominous violence never quite going towards the happy ending we hope for. We have to follow the writer and hope for hope. Good tale that ends as an apparent standalone but your satisfaction is not filled. You are left with a need to know what happens to other characters that are in this story. 💕
Pretty good
Pretty good book, just a shame it’s so short.
