You can't convict a vine—of murder!

On a remote island in the Atlantic, off the coast of Florida, a U.S. Senator has been missing for seven years. John Stephen Strange is the pen name of Dorothy Stockbridge Tillett, who wrote over 20 mystery novels from 1928 to 1976, mostly for the Crime Club Book Club. Considered classics of their genre, her family has proudly dusted them off for reprinting.
