From the Author of the Worldwide Bestselling Talented Saga
Some legends are told. Some are rewritten.
From a dystopian future, Stassi 2446-89 slips through the timewaves to recover cultural items once lost to history. In her native era, time travel has been outlawed. Yet a black-market syndicate exists for those with the money, power, and nerve to purchase items from days past.
Stassi's next assignment: Paris in the 1920's to find a lost manuscript by one of the twentieth century's greatest writers. Swept up in the City of Light during the height of fashion and culture, Stassi is soon befriended by Ernest Hemingway, F. Scott Fitzgerald, Gertrude Stein, and a handsome, mysterious local.
But a seedier side of life lurks beneath the glamorous façade. Stassi quickly learns this run is more dangerous than any of her previous missions. History isn't playing out as it should - a first for the syndicates. Suddenly, the stakes are much greater than merely living or dying.
Ultimately, Stassi must decide how far she'll go to protect her native era, the future as they know it....

Enjoyable time travel scenario
This is the first book in the TimeWaves Series, imagining a future where it is possible to travel back in time with technology. Stassi and her friends undertake assignments for The Syndicate and in this introduction, are focusing on 1920s Paris. Unfortunately, they encounter difficulties, getting distracted by a murder investigation. Plenty of adventure, romance and unexpected twists, with authentic description of the time era and depiction of historical characters, plus an ending that sets up the next book.
