A Rivetting Read
This is the 5th instalment of the Templar Detective series and like the others is a riveting read. Full of deception, intrigue and murder. With a pace that keeps you turning the pages to find out who the villains are and how they intend to bring about the downfall of the Templars.
Set in and around Paris, one man’s ability to see and fathom unusual patterns turns him from a life of struggle looking after himself and his younger sisters to reaching beyond to help others who suffer similar difficulties of life at the hands of ruthless loan sharks. But after one such person clears their debt much faster than could ever have been possible, events spiral out of control as he’s forced to steal much larger amounts on a more frequent basis.
As the Templar’s start to catch on to the theft and investigate, things get even worse as others with more sinister aims become involved.
