This is one of the most varied and rewarding walks in the Brecon Beacons, taking in the beautiful Glyn Colwyn (River Caerfanell valley) via the Brinore Tramroad with spectacular views of the valley sides and the mountain backdrop. It takes you to the top of Tor y Foel at an altitude of 551m, with fabulous panoramic views of the Brecon Beacons and Black Mountains. The descent takes you down into the Usk Valley and finishes with a peaceful walk along the Monmouthshire and Brecon Canal back into the village.
