The Villa in Italy
I downloaded this to read in a wonderful villa in Tuscany. Old like the one of the title and with olive groves but otherwise little in common. I really enjoyed the mystery and the unravelling of it. The author captures the scents, sounds, and heat together with the maddening mosquitoes of Tuscany and the way its beauty can heal.
The Villa in Italy
Not my usual style of book, and I am not sure how I managed to chose it. However, I just couldn’t put it down and thoroughly enjoyed it! At the end I felt I needed something like a “family tree”, but I will certainly read it again. MEG
