Publisher Description
The Vindication of Man is the epic and mind-blowing continuation of John C. Wright's visionary space opera series surpasses all expectation.
Menelaus Montrose, having renewed his enmity with his immortal adversary, Ximen del Azarchel, awaits the return of the posthuman princess Rania, their shared lost love. Rania brings with her the judgment of the Dominions ruling the known cosmos, which will determine the fate of humanity, once and for all. Vindication or destruction? And if it is somehow both, what manner of future awaits them?

Customer Reviews
Disappointing
The epic series continues in the penultimate book in the series as Menelaus Montrose (a.k.a. Judge of Ages) and Ximen del Azarchel (the self-appointed Master of the World) continue their arguments and fights as Rania finally returns.
You must read the previous books in the series to have any understanding of what is happening. This book also ends on a cliff-hanger for the final book in the series.
Unfortunately, the author has allowed his religous fervour to infect this book and the book is the worse for it. Much of the book has heavy-handed parallels to Christianity and the theological discussions throughout most of the book are dull.
Recommended to read only if you want to complete the series.
