The Whispering

Winter Barnes hasn't been the same ever since her best friend, Adam Williams, went missing. The town of Redwick has moved on, presuming him to be dead; but Winter believes he is still out there. Her beliefs are constantly rejected by her family, making her feel like a circus spectacle. Worried for her best friend and tired of everybody telling her to give up, Winter decides to investigate what really happened at the Redwick summer carnival. She begins to lose hope, but when she visits the spot of Adam's disappearance, her entire world is reversed as she travels back in time to Redwick, 1928. Everything about this new paradise is perfect... a little too perfect. As she navigates friendships, both new and old, Winter sets out to discover what is truly amiss about this world, and she has to stay true to herself if she wants to make things right.
