The Wide Empty

Arden wants to be left alone with his spaceship and crew to invent, however pointless it seems when his innovations pass unnoticed.
After rescuing a techno-archaeology expedition threatened by a plant-based species’ colonisation missile, Arden and his crew find themselves caught up in growing tensions between the Union and the Community – one side focussed on recovering lost technologies from depopulated planets, the other once a coalition of independent inventors, now controlled by a megalomaniac feeding their innovations into a blender.
To stay free of them, and avoid an all-out war, he’ll have to rediscover his creativity.
