What did she see?
It’s been ten months since Anna Fox last left her home. Ten months during which she has haunted the rooms of her old New York house, lost in her memories, too terrified to step outside.
Anna’s lifeline to the real world is her window, where she sits, watching her neighbours. When the Russells move in, Anna is instantly drawn to them. A picture-perfect family, they are an echo of the life that was once hers.
But one evening, a scream rips across the silence, and Anna witnesses something horrifying. Now she must uncover the truth about what really happened. But if she does, will anyone believe her? And can she even trust herself?

APPLE BOOKS REVIEW
Meet an outstanding new voice in psychological thrillers. A. J. Finn’s debut pulled us irresistibly into the world of troubled but sympathetic Anna Fox, an agoraphobic child psychologist who thinks that she’s witnessed something terrible happen to a neighbouring family. Ford skilfully builds Anna as a character you want to believe but can never really trust. The unhurried but enthralling story builds towards the truth via sharp and spectacular twists that took us completely by surprise.

Nearly gave up reading this book! Slow and not much happening at the start. Keep going and it does get better, good twists and plots that I dint see coming.
Gripping and I keep Guessing
Thrilling! Everybody was suspect to me and thought Anna has just got mental but man...I was wrong! I did not see it coming! By far the most thrilling audiobook/book I’ve ever listened/read. Couldnt put it down. I was at the edge of my seat.
Kept me guessing
Really enjoyed this read. It’s surprisingly engaging considering it’s set almost entirely in one house, but that’s testament to the quality of the writing. The observations are so well drawn and the characters interesting. I’m normally one step ahead with thrillers but this one kept me guessing till the end.
