From the author: “I wrote two books in one year, which was incredibly stressful. I started writing this one at the start of the year and was thinking, ‘How is everyone feeling in January? What’s going on?’ I love New Year. It’s one of my favourite times where the whole year is stretching ahead and nothing’s gone wrong yet. You feel like you can do anything. There’s a lovely optimism. I wanted to have three women, who were all on the cusp of some big drama, meeting each other, and their lives becoming intertwined. It starts with all their expectations of how the year is going to go being confounded. I love women becoming friends and leaning on one another through difficult times and that’s really what this book is about: the kindness of strangers. I enjoyed writing this book and I don’t always say that. But I’ll never write two books in one year again!”

A year of taking chances is a feel good read - I love Lucy Diamond books - great twists and turns and ladies that take no nonsense! Brilliantly written- now which one to read next !

Loose ends
Love love love all your books! Always pre order them on iBooks. This one again the same but I felt like I was waiting for something to happen that never did. Lots of loose ends left untied. Make a sequel ?! Xx
