Things that Disappear

This is the story of a charming priest, his academic wife, and a boy who has promised to kill God. There is a hallucinatory road trip that becomes a haphazard voyage of self-discovery, an aging pop singer who picks up teenage boys at the mall, and a pair of detectives who go halves on an expensive prostitute who the priest’s father might also be sleeping with. “Things that Disappear” takes a look at America through the eyes of its flawed, determined characters as they search themselves for answers after the priest vanishes and their own soundness is put into question.
