Timing is Everything

Far in the future space exploration to the most distant galaxies is common. What has never been found though is an intelligent civilization to help endure the emptiness of the endless void. Now the Captain and his crew will be the first in their history to discover alien life, in the form of a dormant space probe. Where does this probe come from? When was it made? They set off to find the answers.
