From the author of STILL LIFE, WHEN GOD WAS A RABBIT and A YEAR OF MARVELLOUS WAYS
This is almost a love story. But it's not as simple as that.
It begins with two boys, Ellis and Michael,
who are inseparable.
And the boys become men,
and then Annie walks into their lives,
and it changes nothing and everything.

APPLE BOOKS REVIEW
Sarah Winman’s third novel is a beautiful, sensitive story about love, loss, and friendship. It’s focused on the relationship between childhood friends Ellis and Michael. Each tells the tale from his own, boldly contrasting perspective, unveiling a full kaleidoscope of emotions—sometimes with brutal frankness, sometimes with poetic elegance. Tin Man will devastate and elate you in equal measure. Keep some Kleenex handy.
Loved this book. The characters are rich and complex as the love they share
I thought that I wasn’t going to enjoy it at the beginning but how wrong I was. I laughed, cried and laughed and cried again. Superb writing.
Beautiful haunting read
