To BE: Living the Beatitudes

One of the main goals of religious and values education is to help students develop a good moral life.In Christian Catechism, the Beatitudes is considered as the foundation of a virtuous life. It is at the heart of Jesus teachings.

 The Beatitudes, nonetheless, have not been very appealing to everyone especially to the youth. The young generation lives in a world that uplifts values that run contrary to what the Beatitudes uphold. Therefore a new approach must be made in order to make the young appreciate the significance of these teachings. This module provides activities that will help them discover the beauty of what Jesus have presented to us in his life and how this can be applied to their own experiences. It hopes to bring this pearl of great price to their hearts so that they can begin to be motivated to follow and practice the Beatitudes.
