To Deceive a Highlander
Great story couldn’t put it down. Love stories to do with Lairds from the Highlands. You can relax and unwind reading and getting lost in the story. Please keep writing them.
Male lead leaves a lot to be desired
I know this is a historical and some sexism is to be expected, etc etc. However, the ML is disgustingly sexist and literally does not change his mind in any way until the very final pages.
I understand that character development is meant to happen throughout the book, but waiting for the last 10 pages or so is not it. And the fact that the FL didn’t really take a proper stand until that point as well?
I got this book as a free offer on Apple Books - which I’m glad as I don’t think I would’ve finished otherwise.
