To My Immature Ex Boyfriend,

There are so many things that I want to say to you, but because I'm a lady, I will keep my "big mouth" closed. I received your email the other day and you've got to be joking if you think I have any interest in meeting up with you during your visit to San Francisco. I would rather take a long walk off a short cliff into an ocean of sharks. And the fact that you wouldn't mind seeing my bedroom for "old times sake" makes me laugh. I don't want to be rude, but those memories aren't ones I wish to repeat. I have better uses for five minutes of my time. You can keep the poems I wrote you, my cheerleaders outfit, and the promise ring that you gave me. The only promise I want from you is the one that says I will never hear from your obnoxious, arrogant, weirdly shaped head again.

P.S. No, we're never going to repeat the night you won the Homecoming Football game. Whoopdeedoo! I have a secret to tell you. I never cared about football then and I don't now either.

To My Mouthy Ex Girlfriend,

Birdie, I'm guessing that you still have repressed feelings for my big head. I don't blame you. If I'd gotten to be with a hunk like me, I wouldn't have gotten over it, either. I'll be in San Francisco for a week. I think you can fit me in for three hours and twenty minutes. That was our record remember? Please don't go into the ocean with any sharks. I'd hate to have to rescue you in the water again...oh wait...that was just an excuse to show off in a wet t-shirt before, wasn't it? I'm looking forward to seeing you and maybe I'll treat you to a forty-niners game. You know I can get VIP tickets to any game. We both know you'll be there. I'd hate to have to let your momma in on some of your secrets.

Your sexy ex,

Hunter Augustus Beauregard III

P.S. There are many things I'd love to repeat. I'll call you tomorrow to tell you the first one. :)

Loved it

I loved this book.
Hunter and Birdie were high school sweethearts, but broke up in college.
Years later he asks to see her when he is in San Francisco, she says no.
So he gets his sister to help.
Can they forgive each other to have a future?
Loved the character interaction
A really good story with a few twists I was not expecting.
Really well written, but I am biased as I love this authors books.

I received an advance copy of this book in exchange for my honest review.

Absolutely Amazing Book

This is book five in The Inappropriate Bachelor's Series and it is Birdie and Hunter's story and omg I absolutely loved this book. Birdie's ex boyfriend Hunter is flying to San Francisco for a business meeting and he wants Birdie to show him around but that is definitely not happening as he is an ex for a reason. Hunter works for his dad at the family bank and he is going to San Francisco to put forward a business plan and he also wanted to see Birdie after all they had a relationship for years before they broke up and Birdie moved away but he has missed her so much and was still in love with her and wanted to win her back so that they could have a second chance. Birdie and Hunter had a eight year relationship through school and college and were so in love and then it was all thrown away because Hunter wanted to be the big man on campus but have they grown up enough to put it all behind them and get a chance of a happy ending or is it the end for them because too much time has passed. I absolutely loved the banter, phone calls and e-mail's that went back and forth between them as it made me laugh so much and keeps you on your toes while reading there story. Birdie and her friend are so great together and I love that they are always there for each other regardless. I couldn't wait to read Birdie's story and I couldn't put this book down as I had to see what would happen next and it was so addictive. J S Cooper is an amazing author and writer and she certainly knows how to keep her reader's attention and I definitely recommend you read this book, series and other books by her and you will definitely not be disappointed.

I Voluntarily Reviewed an Arc Copy of this Amazing Book.

Childhood sweethearts with a second chance romance

This was an exceptionally fun read, a sweet and endearing love story about second chances and true friends. The characters were well developed with the plot moving along nicely, there were even a couple of twists I didn’t expect. Birdie and Hunter had been together for eight years until misunderstandings on both sides drive them states apart, however true feelings are hard to bury, so when Hunter tries to reach out to Birdie by sending endless emails, phone calls and even his sister as a negotiator, could it be at all possible the relationship could be rekindled??? There were so many laugh out loud moments one minute and scream and knock there silly heads together another, not to forget the support Birdie had from her besties that made this book a nice clean rom- com with all the swoon. I was given this as an ARC by the author in exchange for a voluntary honest review which I was totally happy to provide.
