Tom in Trouble

when 12 year old tom tries to outwit the school bully, little does he think he'll end up in a bank raid or be plastered up as a statue. he tunnels under a multi storey car park so it slides into the river. his clever restoration of a prototype tunnel borer leads him into the clutches of witches and the web of a giant spider. tom is caught by crooks intent on robbing an army arsenal and he catches them. he seeks his parents who think he is dead and finds a train full of witches.
