Toyota Announces Third Quarter Financial Results (Financial Report‪)‬

Tokyo, Feb 6, 2009 - (JCN Newswire) - TOYOTA MOTOR CORPORATION (TMC) today announced financial results for the third quarter ended December 31, 2008. On a consolidated basis, net revenues for the third quarter totaled 4.8 trillion yen, a decrease of 28.4 percent compared to the same period last fiscal year. Operating income decreased from 601.5 billion yen to a loss of 360.6 billion yen, while income before income taxes, minority interest and equity in earnings of affiliated companies was a loss of 282.1 billion yen. Net income decreased from 458.6 billion yen to a loss of 164.7 billion yen.
