In Trials and Transformations Simon Crean, Frank Bongiorno, Philip Ruddock, Tom Frame and others take a critical look at the government’s performance during the Tampa crisis in the lead up to the 2001 election, the ‘children overboard’ affair, the invasions of Afghanistan and Iraq and the history wars.
