The follow up YA thriller from the author of the international bestseller One of Us is Lying.

A perfect town is hiding secrets.
Secrets that somebody would kill to keep hidden.

Ellery's never been to Echo Ridge, but she's heard all about it.

It's where her aunt went missing at age sixteen, never to return. Where a Homecoming Queen's murder five years ago made national news.

And now she has to live there with her estranged grandmother, after her mother lands in rehab.

Malcolm grew up in the shadow of the Homecoming Queen's death.

His older brother was the prime suspect and left Echo Ridge in disgrace.

But now he's back- just as mysterious threats appear around town, hinting that a killer will strike again.

Then another girl disappears.

As Ellery and Malcolm race to unravel what happened, they realise every secret has layers in Echo Ridge.

'Tightly plotted and brilliantly written, with sharp, believable characters, this whodunit is utterly irresistible' - HEAT

Great read

There are reasons why this author is going to be the next big name in modern YA literature. Following 2 murders of home-coming queens in the past, troubled teenagers Ellery and Malcon set out to find the truth after a third one disappears. The writing is full of suspence and twists. The characters were very well developed and I engaged with them so much I was shocked when some truths came out. One of us is lying is getting a sequel and I think that this book also has series/adaptation potential. Would love to read about all of these characters again!

Best book I have ever resd

So unfortunately I’m going to have to do a short review as to not spoil the book but this book is by far my favourite, the characters are awesome and the switch between narrative is great. I really recommend this book and I don’t think I can think of any negative for this book. This is easily my favourite book.

Oh and if your interested my favourite character is Lacey Kilduff (typical lol since she is a character dead from the past)
