An enjoyable read
Having read the first book in this series, I was looking forward to reading the story of the next sister. It can be read as a standalone. I did enjoy this story, there were times that it lacked pace but there was plenty of action in the second half of the book. Bernie and Chester were so different, she acted first, thought after, whereas he was thoughtful and considered the result of his actions. But they were so right for each other even though others didn’t see their relationship that way and did their best to thwart any further engagement. This was an enjoyable read and there are still seven sisters’ stories to come! I received a copy from Booksprout and have voluntarily reviewed it. All thoughts and opinions are my own.
Two Wicked Nights
I was very disappointed in this book. The first 100 pages or more were just a retelling of what happened in the last book in the series just from a slightly different point of view. I can see through you putting in a few sentences of explaining the previous book but 1/3 of it?? Wayyy too much. Definitely won’t be buying the next one
