A great way to move on from the basics
I've been strumming and singing on the ukulele for a while now and have been trying to move up a level with my playing. There is of course all sorts of good advice on the internet but it's spread far and wide and much of it is aimed at very beginners.
At last a book that pulls it all together to help you warm up, formulate a practice routine and get on with better strumming, fingerpicking, learning the fretboard and scales. Also suitable for beginners however as there's no need to be able to read music or understand theory before you dive in.
Clearly laid out and easy to follow without the 'padding' I've found in some publications. Brett clearly knows his stuff!
Supported by over 200 audio tracks to download which demonstrate just about everything in the book so you can understand how it is supposed to sound. I've downloaded these onto my ipad so I can practice on the go.
The uke playing fraternity has needed this for some time. Fantastic!
