“In the system of the world, the term “steward” is used to describe those who occupy low places in a home, office and other public settings. To them, it is derogatory to be so addressed. This is because it is generally misconceived that certain positions elevate persons to become dictators whose desires are to order and regulate other people’s times and energies. Bad leaders use their positions of authority to oppress and abuse others.

They don’t understand that the powers arrogated to them are entrusted for the purpose of rendering service to humanity. Real leadership stems from impactful stewardship because such leaders realize that they have been placed high so they can help those who are low. The general abuse of leadership privileges today necessitates this careful examination of the subject of stewardship.”
