This Interactive book makes up part of the suite of interactive tools offered by NCFE. This particular book aims provide learners with the skills and understanding needed to ready them for progression into the uniformed services. The subjects covered include, employment, physical fitness, problem solving skills, health and hygiene, routine and diversity. 

Health and safety in the uniformed services 


In this unit learners will explore issues related to health and safety. They will become familiar with methods for identifying and reducing hazards and risks. Learners will also gain knowledge of safe manual handling and the control of hazardous substances.
