Publisher Description
Korrin Taylor didn't want to be in Unity, Texas. All she wanted was to return to her home in the Tennessee mountains. She was honoring her pa's last request. But that didn't mean she had to put up with the two viperous snakes that resided in her uncle's home...his wife and daughter.
The two women were aiming to make her life miserable, and thereby, chase her away. She was all for the "leaving" part, but she wasn't about to do them any favors...not until she showed them just what kind of "backwoods" woman she was.
Zacharias Kincade was tired of living in his father's shadow, but more than anything he was tired of having the Taylor women interfering in his life. Why couldn't they understand he didn't want a wife...not now...and most likely not ever!
What he needed to do was leave Unity and head for Mexico. There he could start his own horse ranch. He could build on his own dreams and get out from beneath his father's expectations...and away from the Taylor women.
All of Korrin and Zacharias' wants didn't matter when Fate intervenes. Instead they found something that neither of them had been looking for... Desire...Passion...and True Love.

A wonderfully refreshing romance
Korin's strong female character keeps the story moving at a fast pace, although at time she is very unbelievable and slightly annoying. The spontaneous changes of characters such as Winnie from spoiled brat to submissive wife was way too far fetched for such a short amount of time for me to believe, but since it's not dragged out, it didn't bother me too much. Loved Scenes in the Kincade household even with Zac's mood swings. Pages filled with passion does expand on intimate moments a little too often for my liking, but overall a great read for hopeless romantics!
Read all of three times
I loved this story so much that I read it 3 times!
An okay read
Somewhat enjoyable read. Zac is seriously disgusting though. Not really sure what his appeal is other than being good looking. He's emotionally abusive and wasn't even considering taking responsibility for his actions until forced to do so. Didn't think the whole kidnapping her cousin and all of a sudden she's as sweet as a daisy thing was very believable either. Oh well. If you want something to waste time, I guess this isn't the worst book out there.
