Fantastic read
I am a fan of Tasha Black and I loved the subtle way in which this series was written in relation to the characters, using paranormal alongside humans. The different characters and plots came together making it a very enjoyable read.
Extremely sad it's all over
And Upgraded rounds up the trilogy Building a Hero by Tasha Black and although I knew this was coming, I feel empty inside knowing I will never see West and Cordelia again. Brilliant books, it's been an amazing journey and there couldn't have been a more fitting ending to this amazing saga. The characters evolve and transition into their better selves with every turn of the page, action and heartbreak and a feel good factor throughout. Jess is a force to be reckoned with, Dalton is loyalty and integrity personified, Cordelia was probably the most unsure of herself....even though she redeemed herself in my eyes and West... Holy goddess of hotness...Mallory deserved a medal for hardwork and persevernce and that Peter...oooh I might have virtually kicked him where the sun don't shine a couple of times. It's a sad sad day when a series comes to an end, but knowing that all these beloved characters still reside on my kindle puts a smile back on my face. I was gifted an ARC in return for an honest review.
